One of our friends in the business, who opened a nutrition club in Oroquieta City, gave us these treats when we left two weekends ago, after their grand opening.. 

They actually served us lots of Pomelo and since we mentioned that Paku or Wild Fern is one of our favorites, they wanted to send us this full bag.. 

Oh, but we gingerly declined and brought with us only 1/3 of the bag of freshly harvested wild fern, right from their garden..

I have been planning to buy a new table and I am dreaming of a rev-a-shelf lazy susan, but I find it really expensive. Anyway, I know I can find a table that is as nice as the one I am dreaming of, but then again, dreams can come true too.

I remember the lazy susan of our neighbor back when I was small, where we neighborhood kids would find it difficult to even just sit on the dining chairs, lol. Seriously, we were very small then..

Busy Week Past & Future

It's been a busy week for me. I wish I could just fire up some steaks and hotdogs but they are not part of my diet anymore so I simply resolve to drinking my shakes, which I love, by the way. Now I can not help but think about the crown xls that I am supposed to find for a dear friend, but I have been procrastinating. Probably because the busy week that passed still has its toll on my body. Or at least rest wants to embrace it. 

Anyhow, I am excited for what is to come. Although I know it will still be a busy one, I anticipate it will be awesome..

Little Girl is Craving for Shawarma

When Lili craves for something, I usually give in because it is not always that she asks me for something. I take it as a reward for her hard work in school as well as for being a good daughter. 

She is not choosy and her cravings are always simple. But now that I am into my program, and my food is limited to protein, she is also aligning her cravings to those where she can still spend time with me. So for Shawarma, she asked me for Chicken flavored Shawarma so I can also eat. 

That's how thoughtful Lili is. Applying the Law of Attraction, who wouldn't want to give more to this adorable, thoughtful gift from the Universe..

My Day is Cool!

I am waiting for my lunchmates here at the Nutrition Club for a healthy meal. Later, I will have to think about fasteners at reidsupply.com then I'd be off for school for my classes. I would have lots of things to do today, but I will be okay. I know that for sure. I am happy--- just happy... 

Anyway, I will be attending a meeting with our department head and I am sure I will get lots of pointers from her this afternoon.

OH MY! Fetus Shaped Jackfruit

But lo, and behold! A Jackfruit! A jackfruit that is shaped like a human fetus..

Thank you Mike Abonitalla for this.. Yum! At least, that trip to the trailer dealers was worth it! We all loved the yummy sweet jackfruit, freshly picked from my dear friend's garden..
